Don, we seem to be logging split planter OK with the GS2. It does take two monitors. A GS1 monitor runs the seedstar and the GS2 monitor runs autosteer, greenstar2 (field doc), application map, tractor performance, etc.

We haven't figured out how to make the application map show a different color for each hybrid. You can theme the foreground of the application map by planting rate, but not by hybrid. I don't understand why the GS2 wouldn't map each hybrid as a different color. If anyone knows how, please post.

At this point, I'm not too worried about what the application map looks like in the tractor. I'm confident that ES will display the application data correctly in ES. But heck, we've got this fancy GS2 in the cab, you would think we could get a better application map in the cab.

I'm really worried the GS2 won't be ready for wheat harvest. For the guys in Texas, wheat harvest may have already started.
