| Well, this was our "sustainable supper" tonight. We grew our own Turkeys and corn. We also had bread and potatoes. The kids suggested that we have our own taters and bread next time.
Our Turkeys will be going out this Wednesday night and next week. The service tech is required to draw blood and remove fat for testing (fat removal requires sacrificing a few). So, we saved the breasts from those sacrificed today. I decided to grill the breasts and Lori cooked the taters, sweet corn, and bread. Delicious!!!
I cut the tenders out and vacuum sealed for another day (suggestions please). I also have two other breasts that we will try in the crock pot, probably tomorrow.
Nothing like going out back and getting your supper.
