I don't know the solution, but it does sound like you have a corrupted program. At least that would be my assessment. But you probably have come to that conclusion already.
At least you have more information to give to MicroSoft (or other experts).
I hope this problem gets solved for you quickly.
Question: Is your computer set up to receive updates/upgrades from the Microsoft site? I have developed problems with MS Access. I put a new hard drive in my computer and installed MS Office, and it worked fine. However, now it doesn't. I am pretty much convinced that the program got messed up thru an update. (If that is not true, someone will have to convince me otherwise.)
