ND | My warrenty paid off big time for me. When I bought my laptop, it was a new model they had just introduced, so it had some bugs. It's got a 15 inch screen and had just as much capacity as the desktops at that time. I've had to replace the cooling fan 3 times because it's not big enough to cool the machine. I also replaced the screen once because it started fading out. Now the female end of the power adapter that is soldered to the motherboard is junk. I can only use it on the battery, and it has to be turned off to charge it. Besides the major things there have been several small problems that seem to be reoccuring.
My laptop has lived a pretty hard life though, so I won't say its been total lemon. I've been pretty hard on it over the years, and I've lugged it around alot. I'd have to say the exterior has held up extremely well to its useful life. | |
