coast of Maine | Mark,as far as battery costs go ,,it really is not bad at all when you find the correct spot to buy Group 31 batteries.I can remember batteries that were 200 $ nearly 20 years ago.Semi shops/truck parts/truck plaza's turn a tremendous volume of batteries and no stale stock there either.I know that each truck takes 2 to 4 batteries,,3 million semi's in the USA,,the math is crazy if cycle is 4 years,,either way you figure the avg its multiple millions of batteries sold to the trucking industry.I stock 4 extra at all times,,slide them in 85% of our rigging when one fails,,seems so EZ,,,like growing corn out west,,,hehehhehe | |
