Subject: Spring Reassembly on Row Unit

Michigan Thumb
Looking for advice on how to reassemble these row units. I've had to completely disassemble them as rust build up was stopping movement. Everything is clean ready to assemble. Note that the main reset spring for the shank will need to be compressed about an inch and a half to put the bolt back in. The bolt internal to the spring is fully tightened and has bottomed out on the spacers. Now it is a matter of compressing that spring more to get the lower bold into the bracket holding the shank. Pictures are below.

This is a DMI 5310 strip til unit and the row unit off of the machine.

If anyone has done this before I'd appreciate pointers.

Thanks
