Not sure why these genius engineers would want to add hydraulic motors to a simple manure spreader ( perhaps variable rate?) But in the 70s dad had a couple of hydraulic Grove forage wagons had 3 motors.
By the time they were unloaded you needed gloves to disconnect the hoses due to heat. Open center, closed center did not matter.
On the flip side had a worn out pto driven Grove wagon hooked
to Cockshut 40 tractor at idle would give the silo blower all it needed.
