Middlesex County, Ontario | DIN 9680 is rated for 25 amps continuous and 90a burst. The third contact is rated for 5 amps and is usually used to switch a relay. It offers breakaway protection and the tractor-side has a dust door.
These are common tractor connections and many modern tractors have jacks for this style of connector in the cab and/or at the rear of the tractor.
A lot of equipment, mostly euro, uses this connector style to power flood lights and other heavy draw electrical accessories.
My Hardi pull type sprayer has this connector from the factory to power electronics and it would power the foamer if my sprayer was equipped with a foamer.
