Ferappease will chill cow a bit, but not a fix all. We have used it on heifers with their own calves to chill them out while penned up. If you can get some of the cows milk in calf, maybe hobble cow while in headcatch, try some hairspray or O-No-Mo. Worth a shot, but wouldn't give it much hope. Gentle cow might make it work.
