You need to understand I know what you're up against. MO mud is similar to yours, most cow guys on here are from west or north where it's sand. The hard blue limestone you refer to is what I try to get on my driveway. It doesn't grind up like white rock. Do the best you can while you're redoing it, no flat ground here, I get it
