Alpena MI
We have tiled for a lot of Amish that are very good farmers. A common practice is to tile heavy cattle traffic areas at about 10' spacing. I've done this in some very heavy clay and they love even now that they're several years into having it done. Shoot for 28" to the bottom of the pipe and get it done.

Now, it will NOT solve surface water issues that need to be resolved with surface drainage! That's a separate issue all together.
