Subject: can you tile livestock pens

Middle Tennessee
I have explored this issue before and I still do not know what to do. Built this working barn in 1981 without proper pad so the outside pens are now mud holes if you leave cattle in them for more than a few days. If i do much building up then working barn will have water in it. If I slope to the best spot I will get into all the waterlines and put the water in the access road. I guest the questing is can I tile the pens are build French drains or ?????. I ask this because we are going to redo the outside
holding pens this summer.
