We are located in the Southwest part of VA and run 330 head. We currently calve in February and are considering a change to May. We would be interested in information from anyone who has made the change.
The obvious pro is calving in warmer weather with longer daylight hours, but we would like to know more about how it affected your hay use, grazing, stocking rates, breed-up, etc.
