north west arkansas | Gotta be super careful with scours. If it’s bacterial meds help but if it’s viral meds compound the problem. Only thing I’ll add besides what’s been said is if your gonna tube them kaopectin is an absolute life saver. I’ve never seen it not immediately stop the scours for a bit to allow them to retain some fluids. I’ve seen it work miracles in dogs, cats, calves. It’s no fix but it keeps them alive. In scours it’s the dehydration that kills them. | |
