SW Minnesota | Sustain III is generally my goto unless I think it’s cocci. I give them under 1 month. Most my scours come in that day 14-21 window.
We forget that some scours are viral so antibiotics often won’t do much unless there’s a secondary infection. Probiotics and electrolytes are a must anytime I’m treating scours.
I’ve gone to putting a few water tubs out in creep areas and mixing blu lyte in them. This way if I have a cocci outbreak they are trained to the water tubs and I can group medicate amprolium. | |
