Anytime I give a calf that size a shot of antibiotics I will give them a dose of probiotics.
The antibiotic kills the "bugs" in their gut good and bad. The probiotics puts the good bugs back in their gut. Is the hillbilly answer.

that's good to know. Is there one brand you recommend? This was just what the local orscheln/bucheit/whatchamacallit store carries. Then I ordered a case and caulk gun from valley vet.
