Happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Backwards calf with legs locked. The vet had to do a difficult C Section to remove the dead calf, the cow died 5 days later.


Not a good idea to do a c section on a dead calf. It will poison the cow. We have cut out a few calves. A lot of work but usually cow makes it.
