I fought something like that for a few months this fall. Ended up bypassing the year old battery disconnect that was installed. Hasn’t missed a beat since.


I have a love/hate relationship with these disconnects. When they work they are great but they seem to go bad a lot. 9770/9870 combines are a prime example. Replace the switch every few years. Took two 9870’s to an auction a few years ago and both needed the switch replaced before the sale day. Dealer only had one so I hooked the cables together with a bolt on one of them to get it started. Told the new owner about it and he wasn’t surprised.
