110 volt is going to seriously limit the gpm.

2 hp is pretty much the limit on 110 and even that is going to need a 30 amp breaker. Not to mention it should be hard wired or you will be melting plugs and receptacles on a regular basis.

I would most definitely recommend going 220 if you want to do this properly. A 5+ hp 220 pump would be something worth doing.
