I have always been told, sunlight breaks it down, being inside a building, not exposed to sunlight and not huge temp swings up/down I feel it will be fine, in my opinion DEF is kinda like gasoline, keep a gallon or two in a small container, where it is exposed to the elements it goes bad, in a bulk container it doesn't.
