Oil pump has a line down to lube the bottom shaft from the rear on later tractors. Make sure this sticks into the end of the pinion I think it is.
I would like to use a Zip disk on a grinder but I expect a torch is going to be what gets the job done. Thinking cut the gear that’s stuck and the shaft at that point if it’s necessary.
