Yep, between relatively low DOD expenditures, big tax revenue, peak baby boomer employment, and a little help from newt gingrich the late 90's were a relative golden age of fiscal responsibility. Now...if they would have just paid a little more attention to the jihadists. Especiallly after the first WTC bombing in the underground parking lot.......
