Subject: A question for the ladies.

Denmark
I am currently reading a great book by Stephen Ambrose: The Wild Blue. About the men who flew the B-24´s during WW2.
Describing the food the servicemen ate Mr. Ambrose mentions they had SPAM, often 3 times a day. And that the men got to hate it. I Googled SPAM and found it is short for SPiced pork and hAM. There was also a picture of a tin of it.

I have never heard of it but my wife and I agreed it must be the product called Luncheonmeat.

Is that assumption correct and is it still on the shelves at the supermarkets?
