So many things to do out there. We have been there several times and don't gamble much at all.
Gambling and lodging is much less $$ in Old Vegas if you are not lured in by the hype of the strip.
Go to the Carroll Shelby museum out at the speedway.... some very cool Cobra's and Mustangs. You can get a "shop tour" if you go to the website and find out the times.
Red Rock Canyon is a nice drive in a convertible and there is a biker bar about 25 miles out that serves a good burger.
Everyone should have 1 nice meal while you are out there. I would recommend either Lawry's Prime Rib or Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Also, make it a point to try an "IN/OUT Burger".... a fast food joint.
Wew've also seen Hoover Dam, driven to Death Valley and driven to South Rim of Grand Canyon. If you drive to Death Valley, make sure you have plenty of gas. 1 1/2 years ago, I saw $6.50 gas at Death Valley national park.
