| Here's the latest:
I get battery voltage through the wiring harness to the square plug at the pressure switch. This is measured unplugged from the pressure switch. The plug has four pins, but only uses the two on the right and left sides.
Checking continuity on the pressure switch on these same opposing pins I get 0.00 ohms. This is with the engine off, with engine running, and with someone turning the steering wheel back and forth. It seems the switch is always closed (0 ohms). I adjusted the knob to both limits. It seems that all the way CC would open the switch (1.0 ohms) but wouldn't allow the steering wheel to respond. Anything else reads 0.00 ohms.
Am I testing this correctly? Is this a bad pressure switch?
