Configure port b on your dual port serial cable to export NMEA to the 3000. You can find the desired settings on the knowledge base.
I believe the settings for the PF3000 are BAUD 4800 8, N, 1. NEMA messages GGA and VTG both ON, other NEMA messages all OFF.
