Subject: Is the poblano pepper the same as used in chile relleno?

Hope not. I must have gotten a few bad ones before or I have a different taste cause those things are nasty bland.

Do you look for certain herbs like cilantro to be from certain areas before you buy? I know jalapeno peppers from different regions have a different taste.
