| Weather forecast for the rest of April looks wet, we might have a small window Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to plant. My question (poll) is if the ground is a little tacky still would you rather plant corn or soybeans knowing you might be out of the field for the next two-three weeks? We usually plant soybeans first due to if having an early problem its a lot easier to replant soybeans. I would hate to plant corn and get plenty of beating rains and have ponding or emergence issues but I also know a lot of guys thinking is get your corn planted in April. Located in Central Illinois.
