You guys in the south were suppose to keep the Sand Hill cranes down there this year. I don’t know if we went a full two months without them this year.
They cost the farmers around here pretty close to 10 dollars an acre for corn acres. If corn seed here isn’t treated with Avitrol the cost can be a lot higher. I think it is time you guys planted more nesting cover and dug more water holes so the cranes stayed down south and raised their young down there.
