Central Texas | Here we go with another closing wheel thread… I’ve done my research and have a pretty good idea of what I’ll go with but wanted some more input.
I’ve got black dirt with some clay, so if it’s wet it’ll get pretty sticky. We are a conventional tillage operation, but occasionally no till for some neighbors that have sandy soils.
Corn is the crop.
JD 1795 ME 5
I’ve narrowed it down to
Yetter Twisters (poly or cast?)
Schlagel Posi-Close
Farm Shop Mfg Germinators (poly or steel?)
What are yalls experiences with these?
