Northern Indiana | We have always fed screenings from the grain drier to beef cattle in the winter.
All this talk of VOM this year got me to wondering as to what the screenings would test.
The results from the local elevator was greater than 7.5ppm. That is as high as their test procedure goes.
Should I just scrap the idea of feeding these screenings? Thoughts, experiences?
Edit: the corn grain itself from the bin is 2.3 to 0 with what we have moved this fall.
