My Firestone front tires are at the end of their life so I went to my local tire guy to shop around. Alliances were 3x cheaper than new firestones and Michelin were comparable to firestones (all are 380s with the same load ratings). Could alliances tires possibly be 3x worse than the other 2?? I wouldn’t think so but then again I’ve never had a set. Anyone have bad experiences with them? Otherwise that’s a no brainer for me.
Had the sidewalls crack on several we had that were almost new. Nothing but excuses from the company reps who smelled of alcohol when they arrived. I will never own another.
