IL | I asked about tipping the point of the head back this fall. I was hoping to avoid changing the feeder faceplate, as I switch back and forth between corn and beans a couple times . I did find my main problem was picking up clods in conventional beans( guess I need to roll them ) My notill was much better
I have the head sitting on the shop floor to see how things actually sit, and the rear skids don’t appear to be doing any work . I’ll lower the skids a couple holes for next year, but didn’t hear of some totally removing them because of dragging?
I’m also going to tear into the hinge points to make sure it floats correctly
( yes I did call glascocks at veedersburg and they hadn’t heard of the wedge for along time ),
