NW Illinois | I like mine. Don’t use it at all in pre plant, but use it all the time in post spray. Mostly run it in auto mode. Auto mode shuts it off at like 8 mph, or something. So when running down the through the field it’s not active, but turns on when turning on headlands at slower speeds. I love my yellow paint sprayers but the 2wd machines just don’t have the steering geometry and speed of the John Deere machines. This makes them kinda a lumber wagon getting rear tires squared in center of end rows when turning. I won’t buy another yellow one without it.
Only dislike is when active, during a turn, the outside boom tip has tremendous speed. You definitely have to slow down or the whipping of the outer tip can be scary. | |
