Southwest Wisconsin in the River Bluffs | I have a Gallagher M1500 fencer with 5 ground rods attached to a 3 strand (Top to Bottom: Hot, Hot, Ground) fence. I can maintain around 7K volts. It has some grass growing up between the wires. I added another fencer to another area of the farm that is about 150 feet from the original fence and installed a solar s400 fencer. I also installed this fence with the top two wires hot and the bottom wire connected to 3 ground rods.
When I run both fencers I am getting either interference or stray voltage. My one tester reads 18K. My other other tester is showing some voltage although not 18K. I have a flashing light "fence Ok" light on the fence and when i turn on both fencers I get irregular light flashing.
I am very confused as to what is going on with these two fencers. One is brand new so maybe it has a leak. I ordered 10 additional ground rods and plan on adding more ground. Any other ideas. |
