OK where are they headed? If they are here or lower through christmas/new years I will wholeheartedly agree they are dead. Give it a little time, there is still a lot of corn getting harvested right now. Understand the seasonal cycles. If you looked at the charts and prices every single year at the tail end of harvest the picture would look similar 80% of the time.
