On the reservoir where the hoses hook up to, there is supposed to be stand pipes protruding into it. They are molded into the plastic. After awhile the pipes especially the center one comes loose and goes into rubber hose so they level of oil in reservoir is too low.

To fix it if you can find pipe usually next to fitting or bend in hose,put back into reservoir flush with bottom of nipple and drill a small hole and install a roll pin in it. When you install hose, it will prevent from leaking. You can just replace reservoir too if you like.

Probably have to bleed brakes again.
