| Is most of the moisture on the outside of the plant? I have noticed more issues with rollers building up if the moisture is more on the surface of the plant, such as from rain, snow, or dew, than with identical average moisture bales made from swaths where the moisture is from inside the plants and the surface of the plant is dry. The worst conditions for build up on the rollers is fine leafy alfalfa with a heavy dew or light rain on.
Other than that I don’t know what to tell you. The 567 worked very well in all but the most extreme conditions when I shouldn’t have been baling anyways. That doesn’t help a guy when the weather just won’t cooperate though. | |
