 East of Broken Bow | Have a NH baler, and if hay is wet/sticky enough it will wrap like you described. Usually you can see the belts have uneven tension so you quit.
We used to have a fixed chamber baler, to this one, and our first lesson was that we had to let the hay get a little drier before we baled with the variable chamber baler, for two reasons.
One, it didn't like to bale green/wet/sticky hay nearly as well, and two, it would mold at a lower moisture than the fixed core bales. | |
