Stalks seem to cut real easy.
However it’s very abrasive. After 50 acres a year for a few years now I’m noticing lots of wear on cutter bar, skid plates and disks. I usually replace knives at the beginning of they year anyway but with stalks they are totally worn to the point they are rounded off on the ends.
