Haul them, you will be fine.  I have hauled home from the sale barn 400 third period cows this past year and had no problems.  Now several calved in the trailer, but we never cram them tight, and the babies did fine!  Congratulations on your first year!

Calving in the trailer, now that’s what I call time efficiency!



Not ideal, but it works!  I am lucky that my hired cattle hauler is used to my ways and he knows when that happens to pen them up off to the side.
