Subject: Inducing labor - Sheep

Fourth time lambing as a sheep producer. Katahadin ewes. This group has provided about 25% triplets. Is there ever a time that an ewe would need to be induced into labor? I have an ewe, of considerable size, that is struggling to move about. Last night she was flat on her back. Judging by her size there may be more than three lambs in her. Her udder isn't bagging up to the point where I think she will lamb in the next day or two. The group should finish lambing in the next 20 days if that helps. I have been feeding a diet of dairy quality alfalfa, no grain until they lamb. So, would it be best to let nature run it's course or induce?
