Even with careful calibration and inspecting the planter very carefully, I've never been able to get 100% guess rows where you don't see a row folding just a bit in some spots, even if it's only an inch. Only way to solve this completely without throwing ears over the side of the combine head is to get a 16 row planter or 12 row corn head. Or even an 8 row high speed planter would work.
