| I’m looking for ideas for a feed wagon. Is there anything like a grain o vator wagon that also mixes?
I currently mix my calf starter and grower ration in my knight reel mixer. I dump corn and other ingredients in with skid loader bucket, then when mixed run them into loader bucket again and dump into gravity wagon to store/feed it of.
I got this great idea thou of buying some self feeders and omitting the gravity wagon and carrying buckets of feed.
Thought if I could find something with an auger on it to fill feeders with I could omit the skid loader at least on the mixed end.
Just not all that familiar with what’s out there in different styles of feed handling. Maybe if nothing exist thought about buying a vertical mixer for my bigger cow rations and fabricating an auger onto my reel mixer to replace the apron with. But I’m lazy | |
