Subject: what to expect, cold weather chopping hay.


Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa
Just dumped 160 acres of 2 ton Grass Alfalfa with winter Trit spiked in, yesterday. 15 degrees this am and most mornings with be 20 or below over the next 5 days then consistent rain after. Would think I would have some wilt on it by Monday... Go out and chop with heavy frost or wait until almost noon for it to burn off ? inoculant and packed in a drive over pile, what is your thoughts ?
