| My Grandpa has a 1958 Massey Ferguson 65 gas continental G176 with a Barnes power steering pump. He bought it from a friend and when he got it, it had not run in a year or so. He just put a battery in it and it started right up. The power steering did not work almost whatsoever. So we rebuilt the pump and cylinder and put hydraulic oil in the pump (that is what we were told to put in it). The power steering works somewhat (almost like power assist steering). I hear that they should steer with one finger on the wheel. Any suggestions? | |
