Central, IA | I have my own base connected to my computer in the office and am running SNIP to cast ntrip connections to our equipment. It works great when it works. Occasionally a computer glitch requires me to close the program and restart it. This often occurs when an employee let's me know it doesn't work and I'm not in the office. I can often remote in through google chrome and get it going.
I swapped out my router this weekend and wanted to make sure all of the port forwarding was working, but didn't want to go fire up a display out side last night. I found an app called ntrip checker for my iphone. I installed it, entered the base IP and log in details and was able to verify that it was operating properly. It will be handy to be able to open it up anywhere and verify that the caster software is working. | |
