What model head do you have? I take it you want to cut your beans closer. Are the vertical bolts at the rear of the header screwed all the way in? They hold the brackets that push the cutter bar. If not, by tightening them up, it will tip the sickle down and cot closer. This would be on 200 and 600 series heads. Not familiar with anything else.
