Yes, my InCommand 1200 does that by default. In others words, if I chose a configuration that involves any type of ON/OFF application such as planting, spraying, harvesting etc. the maps are based on the status of that operation.

If I choose a Plain Jane configuration such as Guidance, then the coverage map starts/stops based on whether the steering is engaged. I could disable that if I should wish. Yours may have gotten changed at some time and it should be easy to change the setting back to based on steering.

If you should want to utilize an implement switch you could but that would involve using some type of module such as an Application Rate Module. This might give a more accurate map of the actual application picture and the acres might be more exact. Depending on the operation, this may or may not be important to you.

For example, you could add an Application Rate Module and an implement switch on a tillage tool such as a field cultivator. Then the coverage map could be based on whether the field cultivator was UP or DOWN. The map would be a more accurate picture of the coverage and the acres worked. For tillage, many operators feel that a coverage map based on the status of the auto steer is "good enough" rather than mess with the module, wiring and implement switch.
