Some forecasters are expecting an uptick in rainfall for the Midwest about ten days from now. Soils will be pretty dry by then, if they're not already. Without much crop foliage respiring moisture into the atmosphere along with a lot of dry soils, I wonder if it'll be hard to get sustained storm systems going across large areas
